Wow, first IMM of the year... I know, I'm a slacker :/

Anyways, I filmed a vlog, and if you're too lazy, I also listed the books at the bottom :)

Books mentioned:
The Disenchantments by Nina Lacour
Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden
I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
The Probability of Miracles by Wendy Wunder
One for the Money by Janet Evanovich
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Black Heart by Holly Black (trade with Chloe @ YA Booklover Blog, thank you!!)
Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore (borrowed from Rachel @ Reading Timbits, thank you soo much!)

And I know, IMM is supposed to be a Sunday thing, but who cares :p Have a great weekend, everybody! Leave IMM links and I'll try my best to drop by in between studying psych and... well.. studying psych :)

    1. Haha I love it! ANd of course I have missed you too <3 One for the Money was.. alright. You have to be in a kind of rom-com, just take it as it is kind of mood, or it'll be kinda bad :P

  8. I read I Want My Hat Back while at work one day (I work at a Chapters store) and seriously laughed my ass off when I was done. So funny. I also really want to re-read Tomorrow, When the War Began. I read it in high school but I don't remember a whole lot about it, and it's such a highly regarded Aussie YA book.

Also, I find it funny you mention the awesomness of the Toronto Public Library; I might be moving to Toronto this summer so I decided to check our their catalog online and I was gushing to my boyfriend: "OMGGG JACOB!! THEY HAVE ALL THE BOOKS!! ALL OF THEM!!" to which he replied: "I can practically hear you salivating." (We were chatting online.) So yes, I'm very jealous you have access to it, ahaha.

    1. I KNOW RIGHT?? Hahaha! And yess, it has ALL the books, and usually really close to release date too so you don't have to wait months :) oh yes, I love my library :D :D (and probably because I'm familiar with a wait-5-months-after-release type library, lol)

  9. I am ridiculously horrible at going through my Google Reader but I'm so happy I went through some of it tonight and watched your video bc you cracked me up. I flipping LOVED I Want My Hat Back. Also, I'm gonna tell Nomes you got Tomorrow, When The War Began (We are playing like 6 games of Words with Friends:)), she's on vacation right now:) Every book you mentioned I have something to say about. Hitchhiker's Guide is funny sci-fi, Probability of Miracles doesn't get better (IMO), BITTERBLUE! (my friend is sending me a copy), I can't believe Katherine Heigl was the protag from One For The Money, and now I can't even remember what else was in your video. Oh well, good luck on your exams!

And I'll read pretty much anything Nomes recommends XD I can't wait to start reading it (and I'm beyond jealous of her vaca right now). Ahh, sucks to hear about PoM.. I expected to be head over heels for it, but I might try reading another book now. Eep, I'll be curious to see what you think of Bitterblue!! :D And thank you!
