In My Mailbox (1) -- VLOG!

I'm finally doing one! Welcome to my first In My Mailbox, hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, inspired by Alea.
**

After some serious cyber-peer-pressure from the lovely Aly and Yahong, I decided to figure out how to make my video work and do a vlog for you guys. So yeah.. nice to meet you... enjoy? These are what I got in my mailbox these past 3 weeks.

I know it's low quality, but that was because I just don't want to spend a lot of time waiting for it to upload*. Sorry I'm impatient :( If you know a better way, please let me know!

  10. Awesome vlog, Audrey! Yay for Jane Eyre, it's fantastic (although I wasn't impressed with the movie version of it that just came out...actually it had me in stitches most of the time, which considering it's a gothic story it really shouldn't have LOL). And way to represent Canada with the toque!

  16. You are so cute and cheerful! You need to always do a vlog. :) Love it.

Lots of great wins!! Yay! I'm jealous. I am dying for Wither.

On your little sidebar poll about Harry Potter I voted for book 3. That's a tough choice! I could easily say any of them. What really surprised me is the number of people who haven't read them. They're SO good. I just read them at the end of last year, so I guess I can't say anything. LOL

  18. oh ~ this is just *too* cool.

and i have never noticed that you hadn't done any IMM's before. i haven't either. (not sure why? laziness most likely, haha)

i think you will really like god is in the pancakes. it is quieter but ultimately really awesome :)

i also like graceling better than fire. hmm, on reflection, that is probably b/c of PO ;)

  19. Yay for peer pressure. Great Vlog.

Oh noes, you hated Something Borrow. I just got that book. I'm definitely going to watch the movie.

I didn't like Graceling so much. But I did swoon over Po.

Thanks for all the recs, Audrey. Congrats on all your wins.

  22. HOORAY FOR PEER PRESSURE!! (Only after typing that did I see Justine's comment lolol.) So many awesome books :) I LOVE The Sky Is Everywhere's paperback cover. You have such a nice smile! And that tuque!!

  23. OH MY GOSH, I CAN SEE YOU!

Seriously. I know what your room looks like. I feel like a stalker. Then again, I guess it goes both ways. ;)

You're so cool. I'm pretty sure I've said that before, but you're just as cool now as you were then, so why not repeat it? It's awesome to see the real you. I can give my friend a face!

    Moving on...

JEALOUS. I know jealousy is an ugly emotion, but I'm dying to read DIVERGENT! I'm sure that if you liked it, I'll love it. I get the feeling I'm a bigger fan of dystopian anyway. I'm really happy you enjoyed WITHER, too. I tend to feel guilty when you don't love books I've so zealously recommended!

Anyway, have a great (what day is it?? Oh, yeah) Monday!
